Rolling out with a foam roller or whatever other apparatus you like can be helpful, but you have to know what you are trying to do and why. It's also important to know that anatomy includes things like nerves, organs, and blood vessels, not just bones and muscles. Just because it hurts to push on something doesn't mean you should!
